There are two types of replenishment orders that you will see from the Repeat platform: Direct Orders and Indirect Orders.
Direct Orders
- When a customer clicks on the replenishment notification, goes to their Repeat Cart, then checks out via your Shopify checkout (all in one session), this is a direct order.
- You can also see activity related to direct orders in Shopify Analytics under the sales channel Repeat.
- You can also see direct orders by looking for orders tagged with the Shopify tag repeat.
Indirect Orders
-
Indirect orders are calculated using a 7-day view attribution model. If a customer receives a notification and places an order from your Shopify store within 7 days, this is an indirect order.
-
You can see indirect orders by looking for orders tagged with the Shopify tag repeat-indirect
-
There are several types of orders that fall into the category of indirect:
- Customer receives a notification, clicks on the link to their Repeat Cart, does not make a purchase via the Repeat channel. These could be customers that make a purchase later in the day, decide they want to purchase via desktop instead (as most of customers receiving notifications will be on mobile), etc.
- Customer receives a notification, clicks on the link to their Repeat Cart, and clicks on your brand logo to abandon this flow (see pink box below for reference on a sample cart) and go shop directly on your Shopify store instead.
