With the Repeat x Postscript Integration, you can personalize reordering experiences for any customer opted in to your SMS marketing. The integration leverages Repeat’s notification logic and Repeat carts to automatically send SMS messages that let customers customers reorder their favorite products in three clicks when they’re most likely ready to reorder.

Getting Started

Enable the Integration

To enable the integration, reach out to your Repeat Success Manager.

Here’s what our implementation team will do:

  1. Create a private API key in Postscript

    <aside> ⭐ As part of implementation, we create a private API key in Postscript. Please do not delete or disable this API key or the integration will break.

    </aside>

  2. Set up 2 Custom Automations in Postscript

  3. Reach out to brand to get approval on message copy

  4. Once we get brand approval, we’ll perform tests on our end and enable the 2 automations

How It Works

Repeat’s Reorder Notification series works with the combination of 2 custom automations.

The 1st Automation: the Due to Reorder Automation

When this automation is turned on, it will send to customers on your Postscript subscriber list that are determined “due to reorder” by Repeat’s notification logic. This is set up in the automation using a Repeat-specific trigger called Repeat: Due to Reorder

This automation is able to pull in a tag {repeat_cart_url} into the message body that will display a customer’s personalized Repeat Cart links when the message goes out.

What to know:

When we turn this automation, more messages will send in the first few days since we’re catching people at the end of their windows. It will eventually steady over time.
