Launched a retail partnership? Selling through Amazon?
Big ups to you, Mrs. Omni-Channel Sales. Let’s be real, though: Deep down, you have cold sweats about the amount of data you’re missing from those SKUs. We’re here to tell you there’s hope. The easiest way to convert those customers to your database is to toss an insert into your packing, promoting easy reorders.
We’ve seen brands do this a few times to collect reviews, promote social channels, and collect UGC, and it impresses every time. But… we’ve yet to see someone do it to get repeat customer information into their database. Why not use those same tactics to send your retail and marketplace customers to your Repeat sign-up landing page for easy reordering?
QR codes are actually becoming a thing again (they might just stick this time), but branded URLs (www.yourbrand.com/target or www.yourbrand.com/amazon) are straightforward enough, too. Either way, capture that data so you can start stitching together which retail partner is driving the highest LTV as an acquisition source.
(P.S. If this idea pumps you up, let us know. We’ll help you make it happen.)
